Ezekiel walked down to where the waters flow

The river called loud, but he dipped just his toe

God whisperers, "Don't pause. Don't let your fears win

Take that next step of faith where the currents begin

Go deeper, wade further, feel the holy tide

don't let the river of life take your fears for a ride

Don’t stand in the shallows your story's yet untold

Take one more step, let God's healing waters flow

we may stand at the edge as we try to stand tall

The voice of the heavens says make a bolder call

"My strength is enough. My truth is the way

Don’t fear the deep it purifies today. "

It starts in the shallows but won’t end the same

For faith isn’t stagnant it grows in gods rain

The ripples they carry the truth we all know

Dare to lose footing,and let the Spirit overflow

he trusted God's words and found a peace within

God smiles from above as all his truth unveils

The deeper the step, the more his love prevails
