Oh Mina,  if I could see her
Just for one more night
I’d try to make her mine

She found me
In the parlor 
The one right off of broadway 
late at night
I bought her a shot of whiskey
She told me she was on her way back home
And that she travelled
Across the country 
But never found what she’d been looking for

She left me on my own again 
She wrote a note down 
left it on the table
 “You’ll have to find me if you ever want to see me again.”
