🎵 Page Twenty-Four, Line Two
by Braden Allen Hudson
I reached for tales on my bedroom floor,
Three books waiting—calling lore.
Turned to page twenty-four, line two,
To see what old words still could do.
From magic's world, where shadows lie,
A boy named Harry, wondering why—
"Two letters came," the parchment said,
From Sirius, far where secrets tread.
A thunder clap in battles grand,
Percy stood with sword in hand.
Two giants marched with fire and fear,
Dragging Beckendorf ever near.
Then from the streets where greasers roam,
And troubled boys call alleys home,
He looked for Dally’s face, unsure,
Whispered “Hi,” so soft, so pure.
Three books, one moment, stitched by fate,
In line and ink, the worlds relate.
Each voice, a truth, both loud and small—
From magic, war, and hearts that fall.
