My mother holds our hearts so close,

Me and my sister — the ones she loves the most.

She teaches us about this life we’re living in,

How the world gets harder if we don’t listen.

Her words are gentle, but they carry truth,

Lessons she gives to protect our youth.

Every Sunday, she reminds us to pray,

To thank the One who guides our way.

In the hardest times, when life feels rough,

She says, “Trust in God, He’s more than enough.”

She tells us school is where our future begins,

“If you work hard, you’ll find your wins.”

“Respect your parents,” she always says,

“For blessings follow you all your days.”

Blessings of life, of dreams, of peace,

Of God’s love that will never cease.

Before she leaves this world someday,

She wants us walking the righteous way.

Sometimes I didn’t listen,

I pushed her love away,

I started not to care at all,

But still she chose to stay.

She never gave up on me,

Even when my heart felt far,
