Queen of the Ruins

This is the tale carved in my bones…

A heart cracked open in forbidden tones.

Your ghost was the lantern in my night,

A cruel enchantment dressed in gentle light.

But even curses tremble under truth,

And even angels bleed when they chase their youth…

I allowed you to wander through my shadows,

Let you touch the ruins where my fire glows.

You toyed with the storm I hid in my veins—

But I was the witch who bound you in chains.

I opened my heart like a secret shrine,

Let you taste the madness that once was mine.

You thought you owned me, but you never knew—

I was the spell, and you… were only passing through.

I could shatter you with a single goodbye,

Turn your name to smoke, let your memory die.

But I keep you close, like a dangerous art—

A beautiful poison sleeping under my heart.

You played with the girl…

But awakened the queen.

And now you kneel

in the kingdom

you never meant to love.

I carved a throne from the ruins of desire,

Lit it with shadows, fed it with fire.

Every whisper of yours, a spell I bend,

Every step you take, I’m the journey’s end.

I let you wander, a moth in my flame,

Thought you could tame me, thought you could claim.

But the girl you touched is lost in the mist,

The queen you see… cannot be dismissed.

You drank from my madness, danced in my pain,

But every drop of me, you’ll never contain.

I’m the storm, I’m the night, the dark you crave,

I hold your soul in the games I play.

I could burn the world just to see you kneel,

Twist the night around me, spin the unreal.

I am the poison, the shadow, the flame,

You thought you had me… but you only have my name.
