The Challenge

I was faithful or at least I tried to be

You want people to fear you but you should fear me,

I train everyday and stand down to no man

I feel the fire on my heels but I’ll continue to stand,

So back the hell up yeah you heard what I said,

My blood runs black and my eyes see red,

You came for my family you came for my son,

You can’t have him! We are not done!

I know you hear every word while I scream in the dark,

No other shadow in sight, but I know I’m not alone in this park

I challenge you now you enemy of faith!

You’re a coward, a pig, a joke

You couldn’t fight me man to man, you don’t want this smoke

So instead you fight dirty you liar and cheat

You’re supposed to be from hell but you can’t even handle this heat

You’re weak and you’d lose if you tried to fight me one on one

That’s why you tried to come for someone smaller but I’ve already said you can’t have my son!

I hear them telling me to stop don’t or claim it or call him

But that ish is too late he started im all in

But hes not just a man and I cant seem to reach him

I’m telling God if you got soldiers better get them unleashed

Cuz there’s a war about to happen and I’m coming for it all

I’m not in a good place I say it but you just can’t see it,

I keep trying to walk towards the light but I just can’t seem to reach it

I’m fighting hard for my faith but it’s so hard and I’m in pain

It feels so heavy now will I ever be the same,

I’m looking at you GOD keep my eyes up towards the sky

I have no tears left to fall, no reasons left to cry,

I see my son take a breath while my other son is watchin’

No more time left for talking

Have to do the solid walking

Keep my eyes toward the light as I steady my pace,

My life is not over, I will finish the race,

When it’s all said and done we will have settled the score,

So keep on walking away don’t be coming back for more

So God if you hear me keep reaching for me

Keep my heart steady, keep the ground beneath my feet,

But know I have my battle gear ready when you call upon me.
