I remember Christmas

One of long ago

Day I held your little hand

Walking through the snow

Underneath the street lights

We built a snowman to the sky

All just seems like yesterday

How quickly times gone by

You looked just like an angel

From atop a Christmas tree

The way you smiled the way you laughed

The way you looked at me

This little girl with the fire red hair

You stole my heart away

And now you've grown and times moved on

I just want to say

That is how I remember Christmas

And how I'll remember you

And i know now its coming around again

I'll remember forever

On Christmas eve i would tuck you in

And youdl point up to the sky

trying oh so hard to stay awake

To see santa going by

Memorise of that time we shared

Will never fade away

They'll only grow I want to know
