Love is like a dove that flies away when you’re too rough other times it’s the fire you try to stay away from. Either way it’s all the same, the pain helps you go the right way and the gentle times prepare you for the worst days. But true love, true love is putting God first so he can quench your thirst and wash away the curse so you can see what to get rid of. Looking for love without God is like hunting while hungry, you’ll settle for whatever you can get your hands on. Sadly this world dehydrates us to migrate to the wrong things shaking hands with the insane that refuse to change lanes. Which is why God set us apart to start a campaign to see his domain one day gathering the dehydrated and unloved to see him on his throne one day. Just gotta get rid of what you think is right and let him lead the fight, it’s the only way. First part is spending time with God, matching his rhyme, not only in your downtime. Because true love is making time for the one that makes your smile shine. Second is loving yourself because you can’t love someone else if you don’t love yourself. Walking righteous leads to being virtuous and pious which isn’t torturous with God on your side. Next is loving the church, it’s the first place the lost search when tired of digging in the dirt. The bride of Christ that Jesus died for, her imperfections made her perfect and shine the brightest among all the dirt. So beautiful that this overflowing love he poured out onto us started with opening a door that lead to true love with the first born of everyone. So thank you Lord for knocking on my door and showing me that true love is what’s worth sacrificing for.
