Justifying bad behaviors
Sitting alone in my own self pity and wallow
Willingly deciding to deceive myself
Fulfilling every selfish urge

Eternity is a long span
Knowingly facing hell and smiling
Apathetic and slowly dying

Digging at myself and ripping open old scars
Laughing at myself and bleeding
Self fulfilling prophecy
Self inflicted self destruction
Never knowing the promise to me
I’ve since changed
Learning of all my wasted time
Hard lessons in the school of life reshaped me
I transformed from a carnal being into something much greater than me
No longer tormented by the hellscapes in my nightmares
No longer feeling dammmmmmned!
