My Roadmap

I’ve walked through valleys filled with silence

Where hope felt like a distant flame

Through broken roads and shifting climates

I barely recognized my name

But every step, though unsure

Was leading me to something more

This is my roadmap, drawn by the unknown

Through the highs and the lows I’ve grown

Deep waters tried to pull me under

Shallow waves made me wonder

Dry deserts burned my soul

Hurricanes took control

But through it all I found my way

Hope was never far away

I felt the weight of endless droughts

Where dreams would crack beneath the sun

Then storms would rise, filled up with doubt

Like I was always on the run

But every tear, every fight

Was shaping who I am inside

This is my roadmap, written in my scars

Every fall didn’t go too far
