Shadows of a Fractured Nation

Deep in the night, echoes of a cry,

Shadows cast on homes, tears in the sky.

Walking through the streets, broken dreams and rage,

Fists in the air, hearts trapped in a cage.

Walls are bleeding colors, what did we become?

Lost in the shadow of what we once loved.

Can we find a way, to heal these scars,

Raise our voices, reach for the stars?

Hold on to hope, before it's too late,

This isn't the fate we choose to create.

This America, torn apart at the seams,

Fighting our brothers, drowning in screams.

Can we find the peace, beneath the strife?

Or are we destined to lose what we call life?

Riot flames flicker, hearts grow colder,

Dreams of unity growing older.

But beneath the ashes, maybe there's grace,

A chance for love to take its place.

So hold on tight, don’t let it end,

Change begins where hate cannot bend.

Together we stand, or divided we fall,
