Blue eyes shining like the cold night stars,

White fur flying when he runs real far,

Paws on the floor, yeah he thinks he’s large,

Heart of a wolf but gentle as a spark.

Howl to the moon, got that wild, bold tune,

Zooming through the snow like a silver balloon,

Every time he runs, he’s gone too soon,

But he always comes back to my door like a boom.

Zeus, yeah, thunder in his name,

Lightning in his tail when he’s ready to play,

King of the house in a sweet, crazy way,

My little storm cloud brightening my day.

Zeus, with the ice in his eyes,

But a warm gold heart that never denies,

Yeah, life feel better with him by my side.

Chewed-up shoes but I can’t stay mad,

Every single mess somehow makes me glad,

Snow nose kisses, best friend I’ve had,

Loyal to the bone, yeah he ride when it’s bad.

Ears perk up at the sound of my key,

Whole body waggin’ like a furry sea,

No matter how rough life try to be,

He pull me back to the part of me free.

If I’m lost, he knows the way,

Silent kind of love he don’t gotta say,

Just a look in his eyes and I’m okay,

Like thunder turnin’ into calm gray.

Zeus, yeah, ruler of my heart,

From the first cold bark to the way he starts,

He ain’t just a dog, he’s a part of my art,

My husky Zeus, yeah we never apart.
