Burn From Both Ends

Flickering shadows, early dawns and midnight lights

A battle within, where darkness fights the bright

Morning breaks, but the fire’s still alive

Burning steady, pushing through the strife

Every spark a story, every flame a thought

Winding roads of battles fought

From the crack of dawn to the midnight call

I carry the weight, I refuse to fall

The candle burns, but I still burn brighter

In the silent echo of my inner fighter

Early days, later nights, fighting through the fire

Spirit’s unbroken, climbing ever higher

Though the candle weighs heavy, I still ignite

My soul won’t surrender, I’ll keep up the fight

Night falls, but my resolve’s undimmed

In the darkness, my light’s not grim

From the start to the finish, I stand tall

Refusing the shadow’s silent call

The flame may flicker, but it won’t fade away

My spirit’s strong, come what may

Burn from both ends, yet still I ignite
