Answer the door

You may think that your alone,

But God walks by your side

It is written he’ll never forsake you,

In him you can abide.

All the times we stray away from him,

We forget that he is kind,

He just wants to be a friend to us,

He just wants to be our guide.

All things he has done for us,

All the sacrifice he’s made,

Can’t compare to how many new things,

For our joy he has made.

We are headed to a new world,

Where his treasures we’ll delight,

Where the lame will walk, the blind will see,

Unborn will dance with life.

There is so much more to the story,

That we often set aside,

If we only knew the mysteries of

Heart and the church his bride.

Every time we look to Jesus,

We have more than overcome,

With him nothing is impossible,

With him there is only love.

So don’t wait to get to know him,

He is knocking at your door,

Patiently he waits to lovingly greet you,

And bring you safe to shore.
