One Side to Breathing

Oh, I’m caught in a fog,won't you help me breathe?

One side’s blocked so tight, it ain’t what it should be

Caught in the snare of this sinus storm

Feels like my head's a ol' thundercloud

Sneezing and sneezing but I can't clear the swarm

Stuck in this silent, congested shroud

Wish I could blow this all away

Clear my pathways, find some relief today

But I’m right here, just holding on

Waiting for this congestion to be gone

Breathe in, breathe out, but only one side will play

Locked in this bluescape, can't find my way

Sinus sinking, and my nose’s a two-way street

One side open, stuck in this retreat

Oh, I need a remedy, a healing tune

To open up and lift this gloom

Just want to breathe freely again

Escape this fog, let the clear air reign

So here I stand, with a congested plea

Hoping for relief, someday, somehow, to be free

With one side open, I’ll survive this storm

Till I can breathe from both, and feel reborn
