Forever Fades

Thought they had forever, thought they knew the way

But love's a gamble, sometimes it fades away

Mike and Chloe, seventeen years of dreams

Built a life together, or so it seemed

Started with love, hopes high in the sky

Promised forever, never asked why

Time moved on, and so did they

Two years later, they went separate ways

They believed in something strong and true

But life had different plans for what they knew

Was it destiny or just a game?

Now they're lost, with no one to blame
