Few will move

Everybody’s seen the sign, 
Everybody says “next time”.
Everybody knows the game,
Still we scroll and look away.

We all talk like we’re awake,
We all swear we feel the shake,
But comfort keeps us in our place,
Watching from a safer place.

All know.
Few engage.
All see.
Few step on stage.

All are wise-few prepaid,
All can see-few will care.
All say “someone ought to change”
Few will rise. Few engage.

Many speak-few will stand,
Many point-few use their hands.
Truth is loud,but courage rare-
Few prepare.

We know.
We see.
We wait. Why?
