I see the fog roll in, it’s a veil over my dreams,

Whispers of tomorrow, tangled in my seams,

The stars, they shimmer faintly, but they’re far away,

I’m caught up in the present, scared of the next day.

I’m tiptoeing through this maze of what I might become,

A million voices in my head, but I can’t choose just one.

Maybe my future’s a carnival ride,

Dark twists and turns with a carousel light,

I’m not afraid, but I’m not sure if I should be,

I’m dancing with my shadows, but they won’t define me.

My future’s a painting of broken, vibrant dreams.

I pull back the curtain, but the mirror’s cracked in two,

One side’s my reflection, the other, something new.

The clock keeps ticking loudly, like it’s mocking my fear,

But I’ll rewrite this story, even if the ink smears.

I’m a puzzle of pieces that don’t quite fit,

A kaleidoscope of moments, I’m still piecing it bit by bit.
