Lost in the maze inside my mind

Struggling, but I'm still alive

Anchored deep, yet I still strive

In my own reflection, I thrive

Disability, a heavy chain

But I see it as my grounded plane

A lesson taught with steady hand

To keep my eyes and ears on the stand

Sometimes I close my eyes tight

Unseen consequences in the night

Traveling depths within my soul

Facing fears I can't control

Maybe I'm different, maybe I’m whole

Fighting battles I barely know

Understanding just a distant glow

In a world that’s lost its glow

My mind circles, machines' dance

Echoes of a lone circumstance

Judgments fly with cruel intent

But I know where my strength is spent

Think before you cast your stone

Why judge when you don’t know why?

Look inside before you cry
