I remember everything like it was yesterday. Grandma made us breakfast outside the window the wind blew on the trees. You were so sore that day I had to rub your knees. We only had each-other you watched me grow. mama said she don’t wanna live today just wanted you to know. I’m heading to the beach. By the ocean I felt free. I wondered what you were up to so quietly. Hope basketball is well and I’ve gotten much taller if you can’t tell. Yesterday I made a wish in a wishing well. Hoping that I’ll be home soon to give you seashells.

Life changed for me it’s been 2 years now . I know I haven’t made decisions that’ll make you smile. It’s just I really miss you here . I can’t even look at mama now and I don’t know why. I’m feeling really empty inside so im gonna go get high. I never thought that you’d leave me by myself to go fly. Oh brother what’s it like in heaven can you play ball. The only image in my head is the one where you fall….Remember at the funeral you didn’t look the same . I couldn’t even shed a tear but know that I was filled with pain(painnn)(my brothers keeper) forever and ever and ever.

Ohh brother im in the army now. Deep down inside I know that you’d be so proud. I feel you with me through all my mistakes. Made a better way to spend my days.
