What in the hell is wrong with the world?
Whatever it is I can't tell!
It seems mankind is lacking humanity. 
Why do we teach slavery instead of empathy?
We teach our children calculus and geometry,
Instead of teaching them about decency.
We instill war, racism, and greed.
Where is the unity this world needs?
What in the hell is wrong with this world?
Whatever it is, I can't tell.

How can there ever be peace for mankind
When the ones fighting for it are the ones left behind? 
Teach our children the miracle of birth 
And how to respect our planet Earth. 
Don't teach them to separate people by race. 
Teach them one love, respect and Grace. 
What in the hell is wrong with this World? 
Whatever it is, I can't tell. 

Keep killing and hatred out of their ears. 
Let words of wisdom be all they hear. 
When did hate become more than kindness? 
Or that someone was no one because they had less? 

I think there must be some kind of defect 
When the people can sell abuse and neglect. 
Let them learn the meaning of selfless. 
How can someone with a heart be so heartless? 
It fills my heart with so much sadness 
To see the world filled with madness. 
So please, please tell me,
