Finding the Light Again

Fading echoes in my mind, I'm searching for a sign

Lost within this endless night, I wanna see the light

I shout for help, but I retreat, hiding from my pain

Drowning in the rain of my regrets, caught in my own chain

Whispers of a better life, they call me from afar

Yet I keep running from the truth, pushed away my star

I know I need a savior, someone to set me free

But fear and shame keep me hiding, refusing to believe

God, can you hear me? I’m lost and broken, praying in the dark

Blind to Your mercy, afraid to open up my heart

Help me find the courage to face my sins and start anew

I need You, Lord, I need You to pull me through

Refusing to accept my frailty, I push Your grace aside

Walking further from Your love, I’m wandering in pride

But every empty bottle, every lie I’ve told

Is a shadow of a story, begging to be told

I’m tired of the silence, tired of the shame

Yearning for forgiveness, to heal my wounded frame

God, can you hear me? I’m lost and broken, praying in the dark

Breaking down these walls inside, I reach for Your hand

Fighting my own shadows, trying to understand

Your love is waiting there, patient and so kind

Calling me into the light, freeing this trapped mind

So here I stand, surrendered, at Your mercy’s door

Hoping You will heal me, love me even more

Yes, I am flawed, but with You I can begin

To find my way back home, to let the healing in
