Words

Words are easy,

everybody has words,

lots of words

and everybody speaks those words

far too easy.

Words don't require any effort

or any energy,

they give you hope for things that never happen

and leave you waiting for things

that never occur.

And in the end

they leave you hurting

more than if you never heard

the words in the first place.

If you want someone to know

how much you care for them

and how much you appreciate

what they do for you

then put some energy and effort

into making a change.

Do what you need to do

and do it over and over

again and again

every day,

every week,

every month

and every year

until the end of time.

Don't just speak the words,

show them

that you are willing to sacrifice for them the

way they sacrifice for you.
