Echoes in My Shadow

Shadows whisper in the hollow of my mind,

Lost in a maze where echoes blind.

A fractured mirror, countless reflections,

Each hiding secrets, silent confessions.

Walking through a storm where the skies never clear,

Rain of doubt, drowning every fear.

A tangled web spun tight in the night,

Darkness festering, out of sight.

Faces flicker in the flickering light,

Split in the mirror, battles ignite.

Holding fragments, pieces collide,

In this whirlwind, I cannot hide.

A chorus of voices, unkind.

Dancing on the edge of a fragile peace,

Seeking release, seeking relief.

Calm like a storm, chaos beneath,

A carousel spinning with silent grief.

Maps of madness, trails I runaway,
