The River and the Rock

I didn’t chase them but I fell down the waterfall
My barrel broke now I’m flowing with the stream
Inhale, exhale as these waters enter my lungs 
I grabbed a rock and just tried to hang on 

I can feel it I’m drowning 
As these violent rapids 
Are flowing down to my fate 
You became everything I hate 

Everyday I’m accepting the inevitable 
The truth is one day I’ll have to let go
