I really should go,
(But baby, he’s home right now...)
Just one little peek,
(It’s worth hanging ‘round somehow.)
The light in his room’s turned on,
(He always looks cute at night.)
I’ll watch from the shadows ‘til he turns off the light.
He’s moving around upstairs,
(It’s thrilling to watch him roam.)
I memorized all his chairs,
(That throw pillow screams “welcome home.”)
I swear that he waved my way—
(Wait, no, it was just the breeze...)
If he ever saw me here, he’d call the authorities.
The porchlight flicks on!
(It highlights his perfect face.)
The curtains are drawn...
(It’s fine—I brought my night-vision case!)
I know every friend he texts...
(I hacked into his cloud drive...)
I’ll stay here all night just to watch him survive.
He’s brushing his teeth—
(Oh, his routine’s so divine...)
Now he’s off to sleep—
(And dreaming, I bet, about mine!)
I’ll leave him a note tomorrow,
(A gift he’ll be sure to find...)
Oh, baby, one day, you’ll love me like I’m loving you...
