"Greywolf of the North"
Ballad of Earl Uhtred
(Verse 1)
From storm-cracked shores and icy waves,
Where iron hearts are forged in caves,
He rose with fire in his veins—
Earl Uhtred, Greywolf, breaker of chains.
(Chorus)
Greywolf! Greywolf! Lord of the blade!
His saga carved in stone and shade.
With howl and hammer, axe held high,
He rides the wind and storms the sky!
(Verse 2)
He wore the pelt of midnight's beast,
A silent death at war’s grim feast.
The raven watched, the mead was spilled,
His enemies lay cold and stilled.
(Bridge)
With ship of oak and shield of flame,
He bore no fear, he bore no shame.
Odin’s whisper in his ear—
“Strike, Greywolf, for all shall fear!”
(Chorus)
Greywolf! Greywolf! Iron and frost!
He fights till breath and blood are lost.
A thousand foes, one war-born cry—
"Valhalla waits, I do not die!"
(Outro)
So sing, ye skalds, with voices proud,
Of Uhtred’s name, fierce, bold, and loud.
A wolf among the broken tide,
A legend born, undenied.
