She’s back from the dead, with fire in her eyes,
Two down now, in San Antonio she rides.
No mercy found, no place to run,
She’ll hunt you down before the rising sun.
Her next target’s hidin’, scared of her name,
Locked in his room, thinkin' it's a game.
Barred up the doors, and the windows, too,
Prayin’ to God she'd never break through.
But she’s on his trail, with death at her side,
A shadow in the night, where no one can hide.
The boards creak slow as she comes for the kill,
And his blood runs cold when he sees her still.
His breath comes quick, heart’s poundin' wild,
His final moments, he’s the devil’s child.
Her fingers twitch, as her gun rises high,
The last thing he hears is her deadly sigh.
The bullet flies, and he hits the ground,
No use in runnin’ when the dead come 'round.
His lifeless eyes meet her empty stare,
As dust settles down, she disappears in the air.
The last man stands with a gun in his hand,
Waitin’ in the square, takin’ his last stand.
He sees her approach, that deathly grin,
His heart’s beatin’ fast but he won’t let her win.
He fires first, but she doesn’t flinch,
Her boots kick the dirt, she’s takin’ every inch.
The shootout begins in the dead of the night,
But she’s cold as ice, ready to end the fight.
The bullets fly, echo through the town,
Two ghosts in the dark, no backin' down.
She moves like a shadow, silent, slow,
He’s sweatin' hard, but she won't let go.
His gun clicks dry, but she’s still there,
Her eyes burnin’ bright in the midnight air.
With a devilish grin, she steps in close,
He knows it's the end, he's already a ghost.
[Monologue - Her Words to Him]
“You left me to die, cold in the dust,
Thought I was gone, but vengeance is just.
You hear the wind? That’s my final call,
You can run, you can hide, but we all fall.”
With those words, she moves with speed,
One clean shot, his blood does bleed.
He falls to the dirt, eyes full of fear,
But she stands tall, the end is near.
Her soul’s set free, no more need to fight,
Her body crumples, turnin’ to dust in the light.
The bones hit the ground, her work is done,
She fades away with the setting sun.
[Outro - Extended]
Dust to dust, and bone to bone,
She’s ridin' off, but not alone.
The wind is her voice, the night her song,
Her vengeance has ended, but the tale lives on.
No one will mourn, no one will cry,
As she fades away under the Texas sky.
Her spirit lingers where the shadows creep,
A ghost in the wind, in eternal sleep.
She’s ridin' off…
Where the devil rides…
Her dust in the wind, under western skies.
