Gentleman

Cheated on, and given mixed signals, no guy ever wanted forever. Now it feels like it could be something, I don’t wanna ruin it.

He’s perfect, might be heaven sent, just what I’ve been praying for, I don’t wanna lose this. And I hope it lasts forever, but I’m not used to that happening, I don’t know what to do with this, I might start trembling.

I’m not used to a gentleman, but I’m starting to loosen my grip on control, used to plan relationships in advance, thinking one day we’d grow old together. But now the roles are reversed, and I’m the one who doesn’t wanna rush what we have, no guy ever stayed before, so I don’t know what to do with such a gentleman.

This is new, and I really love it, maybe this could be forever. But I still am super cautious, cuz I don’t wanna ruin it.
