Scar on my head like a barcode

Marked since birth like a dark code

Cupboard where the coats and the scars go

Now I’m on a platform, walking through a brick road

Hand on the cart, heart in my rib cage

Ticket in my palm, stepping through a new page

Doors slide back, crimson and gold trim
