Whisper In Sujood

I walked so far, I lost my way

Chased the world, then slipped away

Empty nights, and heavier days

But still I knelt to You and prayed

Ya Allah, do You hear me cry?

Even when I sinned and passed You by

My heart is tired, my soul’s not clean

But I know You're closer than I’ve ever been

In my sujood, I whisper low

All the pain I never show

Through the tears, I call Your name

Hoping mercy still remains

Ya Rahman, don’t turn away

I’m lost, I beg You, let me stay

With trembling hands, I raise them high

Please forgive me, O Lord Most High

They see my smile, but not the scar

I’ve drifted from where You are

But even in my darkest sin

Your door stays open, You let me in

Ya Allah, I miss the light

I miss the peace that felt so right

I miss the days I felt You near

Now I return with broken fear

In my sujood, I whisper low

All the pain I never show

Through the tears, I call Your name

Please forgive me, O Lord Most High

I know I failed again and again...

But You... You never left me

Even when I forgot You...

You never forgot me

In my sujood, I find my place

Tears like rain upon my face

This broken heart still longs for You

O Allah, bring me back to truth
