Cruising down the highway, mind's a drifting haze

Songs in my ears, lost in a smoky maze

Dreaming of new beginnings, but the pain still stays

Life's a tough shadow, can’t find my way

High above the world, my thoughts begin to roam

Wheels spinning faster, yet I feel alone

Favorite melodies echo, drown out the silent scream

Chasing a fantasy, slipping through the seams

But every step I take, feels like I'm fighting my fate

The harder I push, the more it feels so late

Can’t just give in, gotta hold on tight

Even in the darkness, I still seek the light

Life I hate, but I can't escape the race

On this road to nowhere, trying to find my place

Riding through the storm, with dreams I chase

A new beginning’s waiting, behind this pain I face

Holding on to hope, with passion unbowed
