Park of My Mind

Swinging high, falling low, the park inside my mind

Echoes of laughter, shadows grow, in this changing kind

One moment I’m floating on a breeze so light

Next I’m sinking in a storm that veers tonight

Colors collide, a vivid riot in my head

A kaleidoscope of feelings, I can't easily shed

Hold on tight, it’s a wild ride, through sunshine and rain

Every swing, every slide, bears a different pain

My mood swings like a park, endless in the dark

Laughter and tears echo, leaving their mark

From joy to despair, I’m rarely still, I swear

It’s a playground for my soul, I wear it well

Toys forgotten, shadows dancing in the dusk

Memories flutter, sometimes bitter, sometimes musk

Balancing on swings of hope and fears

A carousel spinning, chasing falling tears

So here I stand, a park of endless sway

Embracing every mood that comes my way

A swing set universe inside my mind

Swinging free, unconfined
