Immortal in the Shadows

They call me immortal, standing tall through the fire,

Climbed from the ashes, never quit, never tire.

Face of the shadow, whispers of the dead,

Telling my story, every scar, every thread.

Fought with demons that lurk in the dark,

Turned pain into power, left a lasting mark.

Gaslight and lies, but my spirit won't break,

Walking through hell, for my own sake.

Met Lucifer in the flames, saw my fears staring back,

Grim reaper at my door, no, I ain’t giving in to that.

They cast me out, tried to bury my soul,

But I’m too strong, I’m still whole.

I'm immortal, forged in the pain, reborn through the rain,

Fighting through the night, no, I won’t refrain.

Broken but better, scarred but alive,

They made me immortal, and now I thrive.

They thought they could end this story, but I’m just getting started,

Every loss, every battle, they only made me harder.

The Grim Reaper tried to take my breath, but he couldn’t see,

That I was already free, spirit unchained, destiny.

So here I stand, a testament to survival,

No grave could hold my revival.

Made immortal in the face of all my fears,

Living proof that hope appears.
