Life in the Mountains

Snow-capped peaks, life's a hike with no cheats,

Breathe in the high, inhale what nature bequeaths,

Trees so tall, touchin’ sky while I crawl,

Earth's heartbeat, hear it sing through the squall.

Eagle's flight, my mind takes flight,

Mornin’ mist, clouds kissin’ the night,

Streams like veins, life flows in lanes,

Mountains teach—got no time for chains.

Echoes bounce, life here counts,

In the mountains, where the spirit mounts,

Freedom's anthem, echo in the pines,

Nature's chapel, where you realign.

Rocky trails, stories etched in stones,

Old tales, whispered in ancient tones,

Life’s a creek, winding through the land,

Mountain's call, hear the grandstand.

Every step a testament, every breath pure intent,

Nature's furthest extent, where the mind's ascent,

Wildflower secrets, whisper through the air,

Mountain wisdom, life’s ultimate affair.

Stars at night, diamonds on velvet,

Moon’s light, casting a silhoutte,

Mountains break the horizon, everlasting,

Nature’s treasure, where life’s contrasting.
