Clouds of Shadows

Fading into the haze, lost in the smoke’s embrace,

Searching for a sign, a normal place, a saving grace.

Clouds of stale smoke, swirling around my mind,

An acid trip through shadows, where no peace I can find.

Life's slipping through my fingers, in a fog so dense,

Caught in this illusion, lost in my own defense.

Every inhale a battle, every breath a fight,

Drowning in the chaos, chasing shadows in the night.

Trying to find a way out, a fragment of the clear,

But the smoke and ice keep whispering, feeding my fear.

Falling into the cloud of haze,

Searching for a brighter day.

Broken visions, lost in time,

Swept away in smoke and ice.

Kids walk scattered, voices scream in pain,

Holding onto shadows, drowning in the rain.

Ephemeral delusions, a society in decay,

Trying to wake the sleeping, to chase the dark away.

Every scream and whisper, echoes of despair,

Caught inside a nightmare, tangled in the snare.

Yearning for some normality, a place to breathe,

But the cold and fire never cease to seethe.

Falling into the cloud of haze,
