“Teeth in the Smoke”
Cold-blooded nights and a savage sunrise,
Heart full of fury with a war in my eyes,
Ruthless whispers crawling under my skin,
Sinister angels saying vengeance begins.
Cruel little memories sharpened like steel,
Merciless ghosts teaching pain how to feel,
Twisted intentions and venomous grace,
A wicked obsession I can’t erase.
Malice in my bloodstream, poison in my veins,
Darkness in the mirror and thunder in my brain,
Violent devotion, feral and profane,
Every scar I carry still remembers every name.
Brutal truth bleeding through the cracks of my soul,
Raw like a riot with a heart black as coal,
Vicious desires in a city of thieves,
Reckless survivors wearing hate on their sleeves.
I hear the outlaw choir singing under neon lights,
Predators dancing in the furnace of the night,
Bitter revelations and wrathful lullabies,
A storm made of sorrow and a thousand alibis.
Call me relentless, call me untamed,
Born from the ashes where the desperate are named,
Corrupted halos hanging over broken streets,
Every enemy praying when they hear my heartbeat.
Vindictive fire burning holes through the rain,
Hostile intentions tattooed into pain,
No mercy left in these bloodstained hands,
Just a soul gone wild in a dying land.
So let the wolves howl and the sirens scream,
Life ain’t holy when you bury your dreams,
The world turned savage, the saints turned numb,
And vengeance keeps marching to the beat of the drum.
