Smoke on the wind, silence where you stood

I tore the world apart the way I knew I would

Your voice still echoes through the ruin and the flame

But I’m not sure I’m worthy of your name

I walked away with fire in my veins

Left nothing standing, only ghosts and blame

I built a life from everything I broke,

I burned it down and called it hope
