Losing hope

Caught in the shadows, feeling so low

Lost in the silence, nowhere to go

Deep in the darkness, trying to hold on

But everything’s heavy, feeling so gone

Every step forward, I get pushed back two

Worn out and weary, what am I supposed to do?

Promises broken, trust turned to dust

Standing on the edge, feeling lost in the gust

But I remember, there’s a spark inside

A flicker of hope, a reason to fight

Though the world’s cold and friends can deceive

Deep inside, I still believe

I wanna break free, find some peace tonight

Hold on to hope, escape from this fight

Can’t give up now, gotta find my way

Through the storm, into the day

Maybe tomorrow, things might change

Pick up the pieces when I rearrange

This pain won’t last forever, I know

Hold tight, it’s time to grow

So I’ll keep fighting, one breath at a time

Chasing the dawn, leaving shadows behind
