Endless Shadows

A dark cloud casting shadows deep inside

Echoes of sorrow I cannot hide

This sadness lingers, a heavy weight

Filling my heart with hate and rage

Burning away what’s left of me

Lost in the storm, no mercy

Every thought, a bitter flame

Trying to find some kind of escape

But the pain just stays alive

In this nightmare, I survive

This sadness never ends, it consumes my soul

A fiery pain that takes control

Anger burning bright, tearing me apart

Lost in this darkness, cold and hard

Shadows dance in my mind's eye

Fury and grief, they amplify

Trying to break free but I fall

Caught in the grip of this endless maul

Maybe someday the light will show

Till then I carry this heavy load

This sadness, my relentless friend

Hate and anger that never end
