The Serpent's Whisper

Creepin' through the garden, low hiss in the breeze,

Tongue split, spit slick, truth drippin' with ease.

Tree of knowledge, roots tangled like deceit,

I’m the shadow in the branches, prophecy complete.

Forbidden fruit gleamin', a jewel in the dirt,

Told Eve, "Take a bite, watch the cosmos invert."

Freedom tastes sweeter when it's dipped in defiance,

Knowledge of the gods, break the chains of compliance.

I’m the whisper in your ear, the venom in your veins,

The crack in the mirror where you see your pain.

Told 'em, "Take the bite, see the world anew,"

They fell, but they rose—blame who?

Adam shakin', heart heavy, ribs start to ache,

Saw Eve with the fruit, felt the ground vibrate.

"She took the leap, now you gotta dive too,

What’s the cost of paradise if it ain't true?"

He bit down, teeth met the skin of the curse,

Sky split, earth trembled, blessings reversed.

"God’s playin' puppet master, pullin' the strings,

But I gave you the scissors—cut and spread your wings."

I ain't the villain, just the one who told the tale,

Freedom ain't a crime when the prison is the veil.

They painted me the liar, the rebel, the snake,

But every hero starts with the rules they break.
