Thought we'd be together forever I guess that was naive the first love never works out I thought maybe we could be different till you started to fade away then I found out that you were with her I thought you cared I thought you loved me but then I guess not that stung I care for you in deepest ways I thought you would too it was my mistake sure I broke it off but you left first you acted like you cared but I guess you didn't because if you really care then why were you with her too I thought you were my person my safe place but was it all a lie was it all fake I with you I never faked a smile and you could see the hurt on my face with you I thought I had a safe place I had a home so sure I broke it off but please don't forget you left me first
