The essence of my opinions and reflections on dictatorships and "disguised" democracies, with the hope of a better future:
The Same Game, Another Disguise
(Verse 1)
In the miseries, poverty, and moral breakdown of countries, towns, and nations from the past to the present, the shadow of a tyrant looms,
With an iron fist and the voice of a sovereign, instilling terror and stealing peace, shattering faith and hope for freedom. Politicians manipulate human beings through their greed and selfishness with cruelty and malice.
Promises of order, bread, and security,
But behind the curtain, only darkness!
Invisible chains that bound feelings,
Forced silence, to prevent dissent.
A clear dictatorship, with a name and an end,
But the pain of the people was always real. And those who awaken are made to suffer with their silence, unable to desist.
(Chorus)
Ah, the same game, another disguise!
History repeats itself with a bitter rhythm.
On one side, the cudgel, the voice without pity and cruelty,
On the other, the mask, that hides the ferocious one.
Democracies and dictatorships, the same plot, with a paper veil,
But human greed sows bitterness and cruelty.
Equally or worse, the people feel the blow,
In the thirsty land, who will sow peace?
(Verse 2)
The ballot boxes arrived, the tyrants advanced, voice of reason,
Flags of change, filling the hearts of the people with faith and many hopes. They tear the people to pieces, peoples who acclaim
"Freedom and vote," the song cried,
But corrupt power, what a sad lesson!
Hidden interests and greed, that move the curtain,
Empty promises, again and again.
The people in the streets, begging for humble bread
While those at the top, focused on filling their pockets horribly
(Chorus)
Ah, the same game, another disguise!
History repeats its bitter rhythm.
On one side, the club, without pity or voice,
On the other, the mask, that hides the ferocious one.
Democracy in name, with a paper veil,
But human greed sows bitterness and cruelty.
The same or worse, the people feel the blow,
In the thirsty land, who will sow the offspring?
(Bridge)
Where is justice, equity, truth?
When the wolf dresses in tender pity.
They manipulate the mind, distort the law,
And the sincere cry is lost like a king.
Faith in the system begins to break,
If those at the top only seek their own delicacy.
Wake up, brothers, it's not the end!
There is hope, beyond evil.
(Final Chorus)
No more games, no more cruel disguises!
Let a dawn break, bringing peace.
With full justice, without fear or silence,
Guided by the values of our good God.
Let true people take the helm,
With sincere souls and pure hearts.
For a new world, where the flower of human dignity blooms,
With true love!
(Outro)
Let the light illuminate every path,
A future without chains, just and true! Until the supposedly clever politicians who use the people's votes submit to the will of God, they will always be failures.
