Sometimes, it's just way too much

Problrms at work. Problems at home.

I feel My anxiety rising

It grows, intensifies, piles up, up, up

Then it all falls down

I have to pick up the pieces and sort things out

Sometimes, it's easy

Sometimes, I don't know where to start

Days like that

There's only one thing I can do

I'm spending the day with Prince, Michael and Madonna

I put on crazy colorful clothes, a cropped top, and some sneakers

I crimp my hair

Make it as big and poofy as it can get

Pink lipstick is a must, and the mascara is blue

I'm throwing myself a true blue party with Billie Jean in the purple rain

The music is loud, I look wild

But my anxiety is going down

I know the 80s had major problems

Life wasn't easier than now at all

But for some reason, despite the Cold War

People looked happy and cool all the time

Like they had nothing to worry about.

They'd rather party

80s therapy does wonders for me

So whenever I need it

I spend the day with Prince. Michael and Madonna

When I feel rebellious, I go for Kim 'cuz the girl is wild

Sometimes I even go for the bad boys

Billy Idol, Guns 'n roses, and when you're living on a prayer, then Jon Bon Jovi is your man.

When things are really bad, I get a little help from Ice Cube, the beastie boys and Run D.M.C.

But I always go back to
