Little Things Matter

Well, I ain't got a truck that's lifted high,

No ten-gallon hat to catch the sky.

But when it comes to me, I'm plain to see,

Got a little something that's humblin' me.

They say size don't matter, it's how you steer,

But Lord, it's a joke I still gotta hear.

In the locker room or at the bar,

I just smile and laugh, "Guess I won't go far."

But little things matter, that's what I say,

It's the heart behind it that leads the way.

From the size of a seed, a tree can grow tall,

So don't judge a man by what’s too small.

I tried big belt buckles, boots that shine,

Thought a cowboy strut might buy me time.

But truth be told, there's no disguise,

You can't hide much when the pants don't lie.

So I sing it loud, ain't ashamed to share,

What I lack down there, I make up elsewhere.

With a love that's big and a heart that's true,
