Hush now, little flames, lie still

The night is soft beyond the hill

No drums will sound, no cannons cry

Just stars awake in a quiet sky

Close your eyes, the dark won’t stay

Morning always finds its way

And I will be right here till dawn

It only tells where we have been

Of roads we walked and fires we crossed
