Workday Woes

Yeah, wake up, same grind, it's the same fight

Workloaf stacked high, see the frustration ignite

Every morning, I lace up my shoes, hit the pavement

Others slack off, got me countin' on patience

Legacy of laziness, they leave the work for me

While I sweat and strain, can't help but question, why me?

They part the blame, pointing fingers daily

Saying 'He’ll handle it,' but really, I'm barely

Survivin' through the stress, with no relief in sight

Carryin' the load, long day turns to night

It's the daily struggle, work's never fair

Picking up slack while they just stare

Always the last to leave, the first to start

Feelin' like I'm fallin' apart

Old shift, they static, always comin' with complaints

Left it unfinished, now I deal with the repercussions' weight

They say 'Well, he’s here,' as if that clears the scene

But I’m burnin' out, caught in between

Same story, different day, same tired tune

Lyin’ in my bed, dreamin’ of a better noon

But obligation's heavy, got no choice, no break

Pushin’ through this cycle, for my own sake
