Moonlight

Walking alone, through the streets so bare,

Echoes of laughter, but you're never there.

Every corner turned, reminds me of you,

In this quiet town, my heart feels so blue.

Moonlight shining, but it don’t feel right,

Heart’s heavy, drowning in the night.

Searching for peace, but it’s hard to find,

In this darkness, you’re still on my mind.

Time keeps moving, but I’m standing still,

Chasing shadows, against my will.

Every whisper of the wind calls your name,

In this endless night, nothing feels the same.
