[Intro]
Step right up, don’t be afraid,
Welcome to the Planet Parade!
Eight bright stars in a cosmic line,
Come learn their stories, one at a time!
Planets spinning, gliding free,
Dancing through the galaxy!
---
[Verse 1 – Mercury]
I’m Mercury, speedy and small,
Closest to the Sun and the fastest of all.
Rocky and cratered with a dusty face,
I zip around the Sun like a lightning race.
No air to hold the heat I gain,
Hot in the day and freezing again!
---
[Verse 2 – Venus]
I’m Venus, glowing golden and bright,
Shining like a lantern in the sky at night.
Clouds so thick that the sunlight stays,
Making me hotter than Mercury’s days.
Spin so slow, it’s hard to track —
My day is longer than my orbit lap!
---
[Verse 3 – Earth]
I’m Earth, your home where life can grow,
With oceans deep and rivers that flow.
Forests, deserts, mountains high —
Clouds above and birds that fly.
Perfect distance from the Sun I stay,
Keeping life safe every single day!
---
[Verse 4 – Mars]
I’m Mars, the red world, dusty and dry,
With valleys so deep and mountains so high.
Rovers explore me, searching for clues,
Checking my soil and gathering news.
Maybe one day you’ll stand on my sand,
Leaving little footprints across my land!
---
[Verse 5 – Jupiter]
I’m Jupiter, giant king of the crew,
Bigger than all the planets you knew.
Great Red Spot spinning like a stormy wheel,
A swirling storm you can almost feel.
With dozens of moons that circle me wide,
I’m a gas giant with pride inside!
---
[Verse 6 – Saturn]
I’m Saturn, famous for rings so bright,
Shimmering softly in the starry night.
Ice and rock glide in a graceful spin,
Dancing around me again and again.
Light as a feather, floating free —
If there were a bathtub big enough, I’d float in the sea!
---
[Verse 7 – Uranus]
I’m Uranus, cool, calm, and blue,
Rolling on my side — yep, that’s true!
Tilted so far the seasons last long,
But I keep spinning steady and strong.
Quiet and distant, but here I stay,
Drifting through space in my sideways sway.
---
[Verse 8 – Neptune]
I’m Neptune, windy with a deep blue glow,
Far from the Sun where the cold winds blow.
Fastest winds in the solar place,
Storms spinning wild in outer space.
Last in the line, but still I shine —
A glowing jewel at the edge of time!
---
[Chorus]
Planets, planets, form a line,
Spinning ’round the Sun so fine!
Eight great friends in a cosmic parade,
Learning about space is better when played!
March along and shout hooray,
Join the fun in the Planet Parade!
---
[Outro]
Thanks for joining our orbital show,
Now you know the planets — ready, let’s go!
Keep looking up and don’t be afraid,
There’s more to explore in the Planet Parade!
