I've only ever died once, they say I can't be choosey

How was I in the wrong? I long forgotten the old me

How did I forget... I was only, human

Where we fall is... where the end beckons all...

Crying out, crying out, but God never answers me

In this abyss, I seek salvation, yet find only echoes

The remnants of my soul slip through my fingers,

A fading memory of what it meant to feel, to hope.

The mirror reflects a stranger, hollow and cold,

I wear this madness like a shroud, a twisted crown,

Each heartbeat a reminder of the humanity lost,

In the chaos, I embrace the chaos, my final refuge.

What remains but the whispers of a shattered mind?

I dance with shadows that once were dreams,

The darkness swallows me whole,

And I find solace in the depths of despair.
